Here at innocent, we always prefer to recruit direct if at all possible and many of the people who work here applied direct. We get lots and lots of calls every day from recruitment agencies and we can't possibly keep in touch with all of you, although we appreciate the interest you have in our business. We already have a PSL (preferred supplier list) in place for the few agencies we have a long standing relationship with and we're not reviewing this at the moment*. The one and only way to smooch yourself into our good books is if you follow these instructions to the letter: Most importantly, you've got to have a candidate who is absolutely perfect for a very specific role. By that we mean not just someone from your database, but someone who fits all the criteria for the job as described on our web site. Yes, all of the criteria. Your candidate will write us a cover letter that answers the same questions that we ask for from all other people who want to work here (the questions are on the online application form page). This bit is very important to us. We want the candidate to write this, not you. If the candidate doesn't want to do this, then they don't really want to work at innocent, and we will not consider the application. You will also need to agree to our terms and conditions - we can send you these once we receive your superstar's CV and letter. Once this has all been done, you should send the candidate's CV and cover letter to: jobs@innocentdrinks.co.uk. Please only send us your absolute best candidate, not a whole bunch. We only want to hear about your superstars. Other stuff: You promise never to advertise on our behalf with our company logo We cannot accept CVs for permanent roles from people who are here on a short working visa If you send us any CVs in that do not fulfill all of the above, we are not able to consider the application. Temporary and fixed term roles: We have exactly the same process if you would like to introduce us to candidates for temporary or fixed term roles, so please see above, thanks. What will happen if you call us? We will ask you to e-mail us. We do not take cold calls from agencies that are not on our PSL, so please don't call us. If you want us to keep your details on file for when we review our PSL, you should mail them to: jobs@innocentdrinks.co.uk We'll then file your details and will refer to them in case we need help in the future. Please don't call us - we'll call you if things change or if we need help with filling a vacancy. In your e-mail with your details you should tell us what areas you specialise in. What happens if I ignore all the advice on this page? If you don't follow our guidelines, we'll have to blacklist your agency and we really don't want to resort to such heavy-handed Mafioso techniques if we can help it. We absolutely want to give priority to people who apply to us because they want to really work here and we want to devote our time to dealing with them only. While we totally understand that you are only doing your job and that you want to help us, we ask that you respect the way in which we want to handle recruitment here at innocent. Thanks for your understanding. Bye for now *definitely not, even if you bake us cakes or send us those cardboard calendars, so please don’t ask us. |
